Pitu is a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Strategy & Analytics (S&A) practice and focuses his efforts on serving clients in the Financial Services & Life Sciences Industries. Pitu works to transform his clients’ business into a more sustainable enterprise – particularly at the intersection of Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions. His experience includes corporate strategy, product development and commercialization strategy, digital transformation, pre and post deal M&A integration planning, program/ project management oversight, Day 1 and Command Center set up, and organizational design and change management.
As an Education Pioneer alumnus, an immigrant from a working-class background, and a New Leaders Council member, he has always been passionate about connecting his impact to broader societal challenges and now works with his Deloitte colleagues to bring that to his clients and communities as well.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Pitu graduated from Arizona State’s W. P. Carey School of Business where he concentrated in Business Analytics, Information Management, and Marketing. He has experience in a variety of roles in different industries project managing application development, implementation district-wide education policy reform, organizing global HR transformation efforts, and product managing an enterprise-level task management system. He also holds a BS in Applied Economics and BA in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island.
Leadership with Purpose
As the first person in his family to graduate from high school, college, and graduate school, it’s with grace, gratitude, and some grit - but most importantly, the generosity of his mentors - that he’s been fortunate enough to live the American dream. Knowing how fortunate and privileged he is to be in the position he is in, he is always looking for ways to pay it forward. During his free time, he likes to volunteer with organizations committed to building community and developing the next generation of leaders.
