Pitu is a Manager in Deloitte Consulting’s M&A practice with a focus on supporting integrations and separations as part of the Integration/ Separation Management Office and the Finance/ Supply Chain SME. While he serves clients in all industries, he does find himself supporting the largest deals in the Financial Services and Energy sectors. Pitu works to transform his clients’ businesses into more sustainable enterprises. His experience includes Corporate Strategy, M&A execution and planning (Day 1 &2, Command Center set up, NewCo Organizational Design) and Supply Chain Management (Sourcing + Procurement).
As an Education Pioneer alumnus, an immigrant from a working-class background, and a New Leaders Council member, he has always been passionate about connecting his impact to broader societal challenges and now works with his Deloitte colleagues to bring that to his clients and communities as well.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Pitu graduated from Arizona State’s W. P. Carey School of Business where he concentrated in Business Analytics, Information Management, and Marketing. He has experience in a variety of roles in different industries project managing application development, implementation district-wide education policy reform, organizing global HR transformation efforts, and product managing an enterprise-level task management system. He also holds a BS in Applied Economics and BA in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island.
Leadership with Purpose
As the first person in his family to graduate from high school, college, and graduate school, it’s with grace, gratitude, and some grit - but most importantly, the generosity of his mentors - that he’s been fortunate enough to live the American dream. Knowing how fortunate and privileged he is to be in the position he is in, he is always looking for ways to pay it forward. During his free time, he likes to volunteer with organizations committed to building community and developing the next generation of leaders.
